Activision: We hate PC Crusade

As if the price increase for european markets wasn’t enough Activision won’t bring the ‘Prestige’-Edition for Modern Warefare 2 to the PC. Once again the PC gamer gets the giant middle finger from yet another publisher.
Frankly, I’m sick of this trend. First of all we’re supposed to pay more due to “a weak dollar” – which is ridicilous enough since that has nothing to do with anything, only to find a new cap the PC gamer is willing to pay so others can do exactly the same! Secondly all we get is a DVD and a leaflet for the PC – great! This screams for piracy! While the console owner gets all the fancy stuff the PC owner is once again officially screwed. This damn ‘Prestige’-Edition was reason enough to go buy it because finally you get something for your money but nooooo, we get jack. A neat way to scare away the PC fanbase and throw junk at them. Modern Warefare 3 won’t even appear on the PC due to the bad selling of MW2 for “some unidentified reasons” – think again!
I hope their “We hate PC’s”-Crusade will end at one point and they’ll come back to where it all started.
