Olympic Games: Vonn-tastic + Go Team USA

brilliant. well-deserved. amazing.
Straight out delightful to watch how the Ski-Princess put the entire list of competitors in their place. All out or nothing – the key to victory. Being able to adapt so quickly to a track, even after being injured is what makes a champion.
It’s just funny to watch the sore losers claim that they only had one training and all that – newsflash: you’re called a pro because you’re supposed to work through difficult situations! One training should suffice to know where you have to go.
Up until now I thought Lindsey has to work under the same circumstances, she too only has 2 sticks, 2 skis and whatnot but maybe she is from another star.

Props to Julia Mancuso for making it a double victory – A good day for Team USA.
Hopefully we’ll see more of her and I’m sure we will as with the 2nd rank she announced herself back. I love to see them both up top – why? – because they’re likeable and congenial. Superb sportsmanship, or sportswomanship on their part.
Also, best wishes out to Anja! I hope it’s not as bad as it looked and you’ll be back for us soon.
